Mystery, Adventure, And Intrigue!

“One thing I admire about Linda Weaver Clarke’s writing is that she desires to put the reader right there with her characters by describing the setting so well that you are swept away. From page one Linda eloquently describes in interesting details the surroundings and the feelings of her characters. I love when I begin reading a book and am taken in! The relationships and the communication between the characters is top notch.” –Melanie Ski, Jubilee Reviews

MYSTERY AND ADVENTURE WITH A TOUCH OF ROMANCE

AnasaziWebThe Adventures of John and Julia Evans is a mystery/adventure series that was inspired by one of my favorite TV shows called Hart to Hart, which featured a married couple investigating and solving crimes staring Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers. The couple is madly in love. You laugh at the humor and sigh at the romance. I wanted to create something similar. There is one difference. John and Julia have three college age daughters, giving more appeal to a larger audience.

Book: Anasazi Intrigue: The Adventures of John and Julia Evans

Review: “This is the first book I’ve read by Linda Weaver Clarke and I’m already hooked. The first pages grab you right in and grab at your heartstrings as you read about the destruction caused by the flood. When Julia and John fight for their lives, readers will be on the edge of their seats for this one. There’s also romance in the mix. John and Julia’s marriage is strong and they are quite supportive of each other. Even when they have their ups and downs, it’s not for long and they get right back into each other’s arms. It’s nice to see a relationship portrayed this way. Very realistic and believable. This series is a “must read” for me. And…my Socrates Great Book Alert Award!” –Socrates Book Review

In this series Julia is a reporter for a daily newspaper and John is a professional knife maker. Because of her curiosity, Julia gets herself into a bunch of trouble. Before long, she finds herself and her husband up to their necks in danger and running for their lives. In this series, I’m letting people know that we can still have romance in our lives, even after 20 years of marriage. We must keep our marriage alive with a bit of teasing, playfulness, and romance. In this series, we find out what a marriage can be like if we give and take a little.

  1. i love everything! It sounds like a good book that draws you in and that is what i love. Especially the poison spill and investigation and all the mystery!!! seems like it will be a great read 🙂

  2. About three years ago, my family went to Arizona and took a side trip to see some Native American paintings on rocks, similar to those pictured in your video. The idea of them being stolen and sold was very intriguing. In addition, Iove the reporter aspect of the story, since I just finished a teen cozy mystery featuring a high school editor/sleuth.Finally, being a parent of college students myself, I think having them in the story would add a lot of excitement. Best of luck on this story and series.
